Instagram (Facebook)

This Saturday Instagram, or Facebook whatever you want to call it , will be imposing the new privacy policy changes announced not too long ago. Initially there was a massive backlash from current users who were unhappy about the possibility of loosing the rights to their own posted photos, me included, but that was supposedly changed after such an uproar from its users. The big wigs at Instagram aka Facebook released this statement:

“Our updated privacy policy helps Instagram function more easily as part of Facebook by being able to share info between the two groups,” ----That frightens me quite honestly. I love Instagram specifically because it wasn't Facebook. It was just photo sharing clean and simple. With Facebook buying the service for more money than all the Kardashians and Honey Boo Boo's combined all of that went to shit.

Instagram thinks that by "sharing" info between services will help fight spam and detect system problems both companies notice.

Now if that doesn't sound like gold plated bullshit then I don't know what does.

Regardless, Instagram users should keep an eye out for the upcoming changes and when someone sends you a poke or wants to water your farm don't act like I didn't warn you.
